Come Taste and See
Carol has been writing a unique cookbook called, Taste and See, expected to be published by the end of ‘23 or start of ‘24. The book addresses a new way of approaching cooking, that is, from a sensory, meditative, spiritual perspective rather than just “making food.” As the title suggests, really TASTING and SEEING changes everything about cooking. It becomes a totally different experience that is satisfying to the body and the soul.

Introduction
An emerald. A gem set in a sea of infinite, myriad mirrors emerge like a sculpture from lucid water, refulgent with stories and secrets. This island, first known as Pithekoussai, the pitcher, brims with life. Bristling pines whose umbrage from above shades sweet smelling blood oranges, whose flesh emulates the many who have lived and died here. Huge lemons, with fruit so large and dense with fragrance is called “panne”- bread. Both fruit and blossom grow on the citrus trees at the same time, filling the “pitcher”, the island, with their sweet perfumes.
